Hospitality Ministers

By virtue of our baptism in Christ some of us are called to serve as Ministers of Hospitality. Our team of Ministers of Hospitality, greeters and ushers, helps to set the tone for the liturgy as they greet arriving parishioners and visitors. The Ministers of Hospitality are the first faces arriving worshipers see, and they make sure that there are no strangers among us.

Expectations
- Must arrive 20 minutes before Mass and stay approximately 20 minutes after Mass.
- Smile and greet worshipers.
- May have to hand out worship aids or other items from time to time before Mass.
- Perform the offertory collection.
- Hand out the bulletin at the end of the Mass.
- Straighten up the missalettes and pews after Mass.
- Have a general watch over the congregation and assist as needed.
- Be an active participant in the Mass.
- Helps the liturgy run smoothly and contributes to the overall sense of worship.
